Each month we monitor the Wildlife of the Nature Reserve, under the 4 headings of Fauna (animals), Bird Species, Insects/Invertebrates and Flora (flowers). We record the date, time and weather conditions on site, the species we see and in which part of the Nature Reserve they have been seen.

Each year a report is compiled, and we have reports for the years 2012 to 2022. Our Monitoring information contributes to the Essex county and national picture of the biodiversity of the range of wildlife sites across the whole country.
